Shawn Fungaling serves as Director of Branding and Marketing for I Am Human Foundation, shaping how the foundation shows up across digital platforms, print materials, and public-facing content. Originally from New York City, Shawn has dedicated his life to serving the most marginalized communities.

He is a survivor of the Pulse Nightclub shooting in Orlando, Florida, and that experience has deepened his commitment to building visibility, safety, and joy for LGBTQ+ communities. He carries that purpose into every campaign, every visual, and every story the foundation tells.

Shawn oversees visual identity, messaging, social media strategy, and campaign development. He brings corporate experience from his work with Delta Airlines and an eye for clean, professional communications. His creative direction has helped bring I Am Human to the forefront of nonprofits doing meaningful work in this space.

For Shawn, branding is more than logos and color palettes. It is how a movement looks, sounds, and feels to the people who need to find it.
